Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: TripleSafe, WaterGuard, & IceGuards Protect Susceptible Vandalia, IL Basement

This Vandalia, Illinois basement was experiencing water damage on the walls and floor. To combat this issue, Team Woods installed a TripleSafe sump pump, a WaterGuard drainage system, and IceGuards. This album will go over each product used and why it was utilized.

Susceptible Basement

Previously this basement had no means of protection against water damage. Team Woods investigated the home to see what protects would best protect this home.

WaterGuard Installed

WaterGuard drains were installed into the perimeter to collect and discard of pesky water leaks that make their way inside. These drains will direct all water collected towards the home's sump pump system to be pumped back outside.

Basement Bedroom

This basement also held the owners' son's room. To keep this room safe to live in, it was essential to keep water out of this room.

Utilizes Drainage System

WaterGuard drains were installed in the perimeter of the son's room to keep the room free of water damage and musty air.

Before TripleSafe

This basement had WaterGuard drains, but it was missing a product to take the collected water out of the house!

New TripleSafe Sump Pump

Thanks to the new TripleSafe sump pump, now water is able to exit the home. This three sump pump system will serve as a dependable sump pump even during power outages!

Sink & Laundry Machines

Along with the bedrooms and the living room section of the basement, it was important to install WaterGuard drains around the laundry machines and sink. Typically at one point these machines and sink area will experience leaks. By installing a drainage system around them, this will further prevent water damage.

No Clogging

Outside the protection didn't stop! IceGuards were attached to the discharge lines that carry water leaks back outside. These IceGuards also will help prevent the lines from freezing during the winter.
