Water Leakage
Pesky water leaks would find its way inside during heavy rains. To stop this, Team Woods came out to the basement to find a permanent solution.
Vacuuming Leaks
First things first, Team Woods had to vacuum up the water leaks to begin the installing process of waterproofing products.
Adding Sump Pump
This basement previously didn't have a sump pump system, to change this, Woods Basement Systems installed a TwinPack sump pump. A dual pump system will give the homeowner the dependability and peace of mind that they deserve knowing that if any water leaks inside, it will be pumped out.
Discharge Lines
Connected to the sump pump system are discharge lines. These lines carry the leaks back outside.
Drainage System
The installers for this project first had to take out the lower part of the basement walls to make room for the WaterGuard drains. These drains are installed in the footing to collect water leaks and direct the leaks towards the new TwinPack sump pump.
IceGuards on Discharge Lines
IceGuard attachments were installed on top of the discharge lines to prevent these lines from clogging, freezing, or backing up. These come in hand year around and will ensure that the lines are safe even with harsh weather.
