Before

No Protection

Water usually leaks in where the walls met the floors. To prevent water damage, Team Woods recommended installing a drainage system into the footing of the basement walls.

WaterGuard Installed

In the footing of the basement walls, WaterGuards were installed. To seal the drains from possible clogging and blockage, these drains are covered with a cement layer.

WaterGuard

WaterGuard drains are used to catch water leaks before they are able to enter inside. These drains will prevent the walls and floor from developing both mold and water damage.

TripleSafe Sump

The TripleSafe sump pump claims its name because it contains three pumps. There is one primary pump with two battery-operated backup pumps that will switch on if needed. This pump will pump out all water that is captured by the drains.

IceGuards Outside

For more protective measures, this homeowner wanted to install IceGuards to protect his discharge lines. Discharge lines are attached to the TripleSafe sump pump and are used to carry out the water that the sump pump pumps out. With IceGuards, these lines won't freeze or clog from debris.

LawnScape Outlet

Along with the IceGuards, further into the yard, a LawnScape outlet was installed to drive water that was discarded by the discard lines away from the house. This outlet ensures that all water that is pumped out won't leak back inside.
