Mike from Collinsville, Illinois wanted to waterproof due to the amount of water that leaked inside the basement. Team Woods went out to the home to see what would serve as the best solution to waterproofing the basement. System design specialist, Jeremy G., gave the recommendation of installing a WaterGuard drainage system to direct water leaks towards the basement sump pump. Team Woods' head foreman, Frank, installed the WaterGuard drains into the perimeter of the room to collect the pesky leaks and direct them towards the new sump pump. This new drainage system will keep the home safe and healthy for several years to come. Now Mike can utilize his waterproofed basement for extra storage space!

Leaky Basement

This Collinsville, Illinois basement had several water leaks inside that left water damage throughout the space.

Leaks in Window

The homeowner noticed that water would leak inside the basement through the basement window. Waterproofing the space would protect the home against further water damage that can lead to expensive repairs.

Before Waterproofing

Team Woods inspected the area and recommended installing WaterGuard drains to direct water towards the home's sump pump. Instead of allowing water to pool and create damage, water would be directed back outside.

WaterGuards

Installed in the perimeter of the basement were WaterGuard drains. These drains are covered with a cement layer to seal the drains from clogging.

Protected Basement

WaterGuards were chosen because this drainage system is installed into the footing of the basement. This system will help prevent the walls and floor from developing water damage that can lead to costly repairs.

TwinPack Sump

The TwinPack sump pump system was installed to pump out the water leaks that the WaterGuard drains had collected. The two pump system is dependable year around because if one fails, the other will switch on.
