Melting Snow
Once the snow melts, it acts just like a water leak by seeping into a basement. This basement was unprotected so even during the winter this basement experienced water damage.
Cracking on Foundation
Water damage can come in many forms. Structural damage can be the result of water placing pressure on the foundation which causes cracking.
Proactive Protection
This homeowner had finished a section of his basement and didn't want to lose the investment he made on the space. He decided to call Woods Basement Systems to install waterproofing products to protect the area.
Placement of the Drains
WaterGuard drains were the first recommended product to keep water out. WaterGuards are installed into the footing of the floor so that they won't experience clogging or backing up.
Covered & Ready
This what a completely installed WaterGuard drainage system looks like. These drains will help collect leaks and direct them towards the home's sump pump. They are then sealed with a layer of cement to seal the system from disturbance.
Before TripleSafe
This picture shows the section of the basement that the homeowner had finished and needed to protect from water damage.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The home didn't have a sump pump, so Team Woods installed a TripleSafe sump pump to discard of all water leaks collected by the WaterGuard drains. This picture was taken while the installer was finishing installing the pump.
Protective Pump
With the help of this new TripleSafe sump pump and the new WaterGuard drains, this home will be able to protect itself no matter the weather.
