Max of Shumway, Illinois wanted to waterproof his basement after years of dealing with water leaks. He had previously finished his basement, and he didn't want his investment to be ruined. Max reached out to Woods Basement Systems to schedule an appointment with a professional. Max worked Team Woods to find an optimal solution and he was recommended a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard drains. Previously this basement had no means of protection against water leaks, so Team Woods wanted to recommend the essential products to collect and pump out water. WaterGuard drains would be installed in the perimeter of the basement to direct water leaks towards the sump pump, and from there the TripleSafe sump pump would pump the water leaks back outside. Thanks to Team Woods, this Max can have peace of mind knowing that the investment he made is protected!

Placement of the Drains

WaterGuard drains were the first recommended product to keep water out. WaterGuards are installed into the footing of the floor so that they won't experience clogging or backing up.

Covered & Ready

This what a completely installed WaterGuard drainage system looks like. These drains will help collect leaks and direct them towards the home's sump pump. They are then sealed with a layer of cement to seal the system from disturbance.
