For the ultimate waterproofing repair, Kristofer from West Union, Illinois reached out to Woods Basement Systems for a solution. He met with system design specialist, Jeremy H., who designed a plan specifically for Kristofer's basement needs. Jeremy recommended installing a drainage system and replacing the old sump pump with a newer, updated system. The two waterproofing products selected were WaterGuard drains and TwinPack sump pump. Together this waterproofing duo will collect and pump out pesky water leaks that make their way inside during heavy rainstorms. Head foreman, Logan B. led his team in installing these new products. Thanks to the combined effort of Team Woods, this project was completed quickly and efficiently.

Wet Basement

Years of water leaks had found its way inside. The homeowner wanted to utilize his basement but knew that the space was susceptible to damage.

Outdated Sump

One of the reasons that water would remain in this space was due to the old sump pump. The sump pump was the home's only means of water protection, and once the system stopped working it wasn't serving its purpose.

Under the Stairs

Water can take a toll on any space, especially the foundation of a home. In this basement specifically, the walls had begun to chip and develop cracks.

Damaged Walls

Over time water will weaken the walls and cause them to crack, bow, and/ or crumble. Thankfully this homeowner took action before severe repairs were needed.

TwinPack Sump

The TwinPack sump was the replacement pump for the old sump. The TwinPack sump pump is a two system sump pump that will be able to handle over 2,000 gallons of water per hour.
