This Saint Ann, Missouri basement had experienced years of water leaks that had water damaged the home. Team Woods installed a CleanSpace encapsulation system, a TripleSafe sump pump, WaterGuard drains to waterproof the space.

Finished Basement

Water leaks would seep into this finished basement during heavy rains. This deeply concerned this homeowner and caused him to reach out to Woods Basement Systems.

Prevention

Several guest rooms were located in this basement, so finding a permanent waterproofing plan was a top priority.

CleanSpace Over Walls

On top of the walls, a CleanSpace vapor barrier system was installed. CleanSpace is an inorganic system that prevents mold growth and blocks out outer elements like water.

TripleSafe Sump Pump

In the corner of the wet basement, a sump pump was installed to pump all water leaks back outside. The sump pump used is a TripleSafe sump pump that contains three pumps that operate year-round, making this pump one of the most dependable sump pumps on the market.

WaterGuard Drains

WaterGuard drains were installed on the perimeter and footing of the basement walls. These drains will catch the water leaks at the source and direct them towards the TripleSafe sump pump to be pumped back outside.

Protective IceGuards

The outside of the basement also had precautionary measures taken for waterproofing. IceGuards were added to the discharge lines that pump out the water leaks, and these guards will prevent the lines from clogging and freezing.
