Soaked Carpet & Walls
Water leaks would seep into this homeowners home during heavy rains. This homeowner had just purchased this home and grew concerned that would damage his basement.
Water Stained Walls
On the other end of the basement, water had stained the walls. This concerned the homeowner enough to reach out to Woods Basement Systems to find a waterproofing solution.
Uplifting Carpet
The installation process started with Team Woods uplifting the carpet to install the new waterproofing products into the floor.
WaterGuard Drainage System
Once the carpet was uplifted, WaterGuard drains would be installed in the footing of the basement walls to collect the pesky water leaks.
WaterGuard Drainage System
Team Woods dug trenches into the flooring to make room for the WaterGuard drains. These drains will help keep water out by collecting water leaks instead of allowing them to pool inside.
Drains Installed
Here is a closer look at the WaterGuard drains. To complete the installation of this system, WaterGuards are sealed with cement to prevent the system from clogging and restoring the floor.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System
In the footing of the basement, a sump pump drain called TripleSafe was installed. A TripleSafe sump pump contains three pumps that will switch on if the primary pump fails. This pump will also function during a power outage, making this system dependable year around.
Complete Waterproofing Systems
Here is a look at both of the systems sealed and completed. Both WaterGuard drains and the TripleSafe sump pump are sealed with a cement layer to prevent the systems from clogging or backing up.
IceGuards on Exterior
Attached to the basements discharge lines are IceGuards. IceGuards are added to the discharge lines to prevent the lines from freezing or clogging.
LawnScape Outlet Added
Into the yard, a LawnScape outlet was installed to direct the water leaks that were carried outside by the discharge lines into the yard.
