Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Dry, Waterproofed Basement with WaterGuard & TripleSafe in Godfrey, IL

Before this Godfrey, Illinois basement was unprotected from water damage. Water would leak in during heavy rains and threaten the well-being of the home. To prevent this, Team Woods installed WaterGuard drains into the perimeter of the space. This way if water were to leak in, the drains would be able to catch them before the water could create harm. Along with the drains, a TripleSafe sump pump would replace the old, outdated sump that wasn't serving the home.

Water Damaged Basement

After years of water accumulating into the basement, the water damage had stained the basement walls. As time passes water will weaken the foundation and lead to structural damage.

Unhelpful Sump Pump

The only waterproofing products that this home had was an old sump pump. As you can see, this sump pump wasn't functioning correctly, and because of this, the space around the pump was water stained.

WaterGuards Installed

The first product that was installed was a drainage system called WaterGuard. These drains were installed in the perimeter of the room to collect the pesky water leaks and keep them out of the house.

Protected Basement

WaterGuard drains are installed in the footing of the floor to prevent the system from backing up and clogging. This system will be helpful by directing water to the sump pump to then be pumped back outside.

Seal & Complete

After all of the drains have been installed; the foreman will pour a cement cover over the top of the drains to keep the system sealed.

Added Sump Pump

To replace the old sump pump, a new TripleSafe sump pump was installed by Team Woods. This dependable pump will pump all water leaks back outside where they belong!
