Outdated Pump
The sump pump you see in the corner of the basement was outdated and wasn't able to handle the water that accumulated in.
Wet Basement
This basement didn't have any waterproofing products besides this old sump pump, so Team Woods came to the rescue!
French Drains
First, WaterGuard drains were installed in the footing of the basement walls to collect the water leaks that seep in where the walls met the floor. This way water isn't able to leak inside the house but instead is stopped by the drains.
Covered by Cement
These WaterGuard drains are then topped with cement to seal the drainage system. This is a vital step to prevent the system from backing up or clogging.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe sump pump replaced the old, outdated pump. This three pump system has one primary sump pump along with two battery-operated backup pumps that will function even during power outages!
IceGuards
Outside of the house, Team Woods added effective waterproofing products that would also help the basement keep dry and healthy. IceGuards were attached to the discharge lines to prevent the lines from clogging or freezing.
LawnScape Outlet
A LawnScape outlet was attached to the discharge line to direct the water pumped out by the sump pump away from the house.
