Water Leakage

Where the wall meets the floor is where the homeowner found many water leaks around the laundry machines. This basement was utilized for several purposes, so it was essential to this homeowner to waterproof the space to protect his property and possessions from harm.

The walls also concerned the homeowner because due to the hydrostatic pressure placed on the basement walls, the pressure caused the walls to bow. The root of the issue was to first waterproof the basement before structural damage would be the main concern.

WaterGuard French Drains

WaterGuard drains were the first product installed in the footing of the walls to collect the water leaks before they could enter into the basement and cause harm. These drains ensure the water stops right in its tracks and sends the water to be discarded.

Drainage System

You will also notice that these drains are covered with a cement layer. This is the final step of the installation process to seal the drains from possible clogging.

New Pump

The new TripleSafe sump pump was installed right next to the drainage system. This duo will work together to keep the basement dry and healthy by collecting and discarding of water leaks.
