Damaged Walls
Due to the amount of water that would leak inside, the paint that covered the walls would chip and crumble after the water dried.
Water Seeping In
The brick foundation supporting the basement allowed water in through the gaps between the bricks. The homeowner tried to cover the walls with cement and paint over bricks, but over time the water took off the cement and paint leaving the walls like this.
Restoration
How could Team Woods restore this space? For repair, BrightWall panels were installed on top of the walls. These panels are water-resistant and will not product mold or become damaged.
TripleSafe & WaterGuard
To prevent water from leaking in, a TripleSafe sump pump would be installed in this corner to pump out the water leaks. In the footing of each basement wall, WaterGuard drains would be installed to collect the water leaks that seep in and direct them towards the TripleSafe sump pump. This duo will prevent leaks from remaining in the basement and causing damage.
