Water Stained Basement
Outside of the home, the homeowner noticed discoloration of the basement walls. This was one of the primary spots water would leak in through the wall.
Massive Leaks
After heavy rains, this was the aftermath of the leaks. This lead to the homeowner piling her possessions off of the floor so that they wouldn't get damaged.
Leaking Through Walls
Water leaks are commonly found where the floor meets the wall, as you see pictured. Later in the gallery, you will see what product Team Woods recommends to keep the leaks from harming the floor and walls.
Before TwinPack
The previous sump pump in the basement had stopped working, and the homeowner had no idea that the pump had failed. Team Woods noticed that the sump pump wasn't able to handle the amount of water that the basement encountered. This old sump pump was replaced with a TwinPack sump pump that contains a backup pump if the primary pump fails. The TwinPack is a year-round dependable sump pump that will function properly at all times.
Weaken Ledge
Water leaks can create more harm than what most homeowners believe. Due to the endless amounts of water leaks accumulated in the basement, the water had broken down the foundation.
WaterGuard for Repair
The product that Team Woods recommends to entirely waterproof a basement is by utilizing a WaterGuard drainage system. WaterGuard drains are installed into the footing of the basement to collect the water leaks and direct them to the TwinPack sump pump. From there the TwinPack system will direct the water leaks out of the home through a discharge line.
