TripleSafe Keeps Basement Save
One of the first waterproofing products installed into the Baldwin, Illinois basement was the TripleSafe sump pump. This pump is unlike any other sump pump on the market because it contains two back-up battery pumps that will operate if the primary pump fails or if the home experiences a power outage.
WaterGuard System
A WaterGuard drainage system was installed in the basement footing to collect the water leaks and send them to the TripleSafe sump pump.
Updated Discharge Lines
Along with the TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard drains, a new discharge line was installed to ensure the water leaks collected will be pumped out of the basement.
Another TripleSafe Added
On the other end of this basement, another TripleSafe sump pump was installed. The corner that this pump was installed was a problematic space that experienced several water leaks. To solve this issue, another TripleSafe sump pump was installed to keep water out of the basement.
WaterGuard Drains
In the footing of the basement, WaterGuard drains were installed to prevent further water damage to the walls.
Why in the footing?
WaterGuard drains are unlike other drainage systems because they are installed in the footing of the walls. WaterGuards are installed in the footing to prevent the drains from clogging, which would disrupt the function of the system.
Exterior Additions
On the outside of the basement, new waterproofing products were installed to keep water out! IceGuards were installed on the discharge lines to prevent the lines from clogging or freezing.
Vent Cover
The window of the basement was sealed with a new vent cover. A new vent cover will prevent water from leaking through during heavy rains into the basement.
