Wet Brick Basement Wall
This painted basement brick foundation wall is discolored because of the moisture coming in between the bricks.
Runners
We lay floor runners to help control the dirt and debris caused from the installation of our waterproofing system.
Layered Wall Covering
To properly install the vertical wall vapor barrier, the top layer is installed first.
Wall Covering Waterproofing
To make sure the basement waterproofing will completely keep the whole basement dry and suitable for finishing the basement walls need a vertical vapor barrier. Our CleanSPACE™ barrier is installed in two layers draining any collected water into the waterproofing systems at the basement floor.
2nd Layer
Once the first layer of wall vapor barrier is installed on the the top half of the wall then the 2nd layer is attached. The 2nd layer over laps the top layer so all the water behind the vapor barrier drains down to the floor waterproofing system. The CleanSPACE™ is mechanically fastened to the brick walls.
Floor Waterproofing System
With the waterproofing piping in place, once the concrete floor is re-poured, all the water collects is drained at the sump pump.
Work Area
Items in the basement are moved to the center of the basement prior to our installation. We use plastic to cover these items to help control the dust from our construction work.
TripleSAFE™ Sump Pump
This sump pump system has 3 sump pumps. The two primary sump pump each have their independent discharge lines. The 3rd Battery Back-Up sump pump runs if the electric is out or if a breaker switch trips.
Exterior IceGUARD™
The sump pump 1 and 1/2 inch discharge lines are attached to the exterior IceGUARD™. Then the 4 inch drain line will take the water well away from the home. The IceGUARD™ will eject water pumped from the sump pump if the 4 inch drain line ever freezes or clogs so the basement will remain dry.
