New Sump Pump Location
At some distance away from the other sump pump, this location will have a section of the basement floor jack hammered to install a new sump pump system.
TwinPAK Sump Pump Liner
This sump pump liner is shaped larger than other sump pump pits because up to 3 sump pump may be installed. This homeowner selected the TwinPAK™ with 2 primary sump pumps to get the water out from under the basement floor as quickly as possible,.
Work Prep
Because of the jack hammering, digging and re-pouring new concrete in the basement, we place plastic to help control debris and keep the home as neat as possible.
Rug Runner
We lay the rug runner from the outside door all the way to the work area.
TwinPAK™ Sump Pumps Installed
The sump pumps are in place with each having their own separate 1 and 1/2 inch discharge lines.
Solid Sump Pump Lid
The 2 part sump pump lid makes if very easy to access the sump pump as needed.
Top View
The liner is more of a kidney shape than round and with the "bridge" to support the two halves of the sump pump pit, up to 250 pounds may be supported. The lip also stops any water from evaporating out of the sump pit and getting into the basement.
2 IceGUARDS™
Each sump pump discharge line goes to an IceGUARD™ to make sure that if the exterior drain line is frozen or clogged, all the water pumped out from the basement by the sump pumps will remain on the exterior of the home.
Extended 4 Inch Drain Line
A 4 inch solid PVC drain line takes all the water pumped from the basement well away in the yard away from the basement.
