Lifted to Prevent Damage

This homeowner was no stranger to water damage. In order to keep his appliances undamaged, he lifted them off the floor!

Leaks by Furnace

Water would leak through the cracks of the wall and remain on the footing perimeter. You can see in this image wet stains by the footing of the furnace.

Wet Staircase

Water weakens water over time, so it was important to waterproof this area to protect the stairs from breaking.

Hanging Fan

One way the homeowner tried to DIY repair the water leaks was by hanging a fan to dry the area. Of course, this isn't an effective solution to a massive water issue and waterproofing products were essential to protect the area.

Old Pump

As Team Woods investigated the area, the team found that this sump pump wasn't able to handle the amount of water the home was taking in. The team decided to replace the pump with a TripleSafe sump pump that can handle over 60,00 gallons.

Mold, Mildew, Mess

The walls revealed years of water damage which transcended into mold and mildew. CleanSpace was later installed on these walls to protect them with a vapor barrier to prevent mold or mildew.
