Old Sump Pump
The old single sump pump is removed and the new sump pumps are installed in the same corner. We only put the sump pump in the same location as before if it is the lowest point in the basement.
Perimeter Drain to Sump Pump
The 4 inch line, white pipe, drains the water from the perimeter waterproofing system to the sump pump pit. Notice the level of the water at its natural state resting at the bottom of the sump pump pit.
TripleSAFE™ Sump Pump
Each of the 2 primary sump pumps have their own separate discharge lines to get the water out of the basement quickly.
Window Well SunHOUSE™
Our window well control leaks and are drained to the waterproofing system to make sure the basment stays dry from window leaks.
Outside Window Well
This outside view of the SunHOUSE™ window well replacement is also next to the white IceGUARD™ for the sump pump discharge line. The IceGUARD™ makes sure that water pumped out from the sump pump will always end up outside even if the discharge line clogs or freezes.
WaterGUARD™ Waterproofing
Our waterproofing pipe, WaterGUARD™, collects water seepage from under the basement floor, from between the footing and foundation wall seam and from leaks running down the face of the basement wall from a crack or leaking window.
Side View of the WaterGUARD™
The waterproofing system is on top of the footing hand the basement floor is poured around it. River rock is used instead of the cheaper limestone rock so that the space between the brown rock will remain open for seepage to flow and get into the waterproofing system.
Going Around
Hot water heaters need to be moved away from the wall to make sure the whole basement stays dry. This homeowner did not mind is some of the floor around the water heater was wet from time to time as long as the rest of the basement floor stayed dry. The only cost saving was not moving this item to waterproof behind it. Additionally, the basement floor was strong enough to go around.
Corner Go Around
Again the homeowner's basement floor was strong enough to go around the sink in the corner and broke out well enough to go behind the iron pipe too.
