The darker blocks is where the water is trapped inside the block well and leaks into the basement of this office
Add on Block Foundation Walls
Adding a section to the office build with a block foundation needs particular products to make sure a complete and dry basement can be suitable for usage.
BrightWALL™ Wall Cover
In the stair well at the walk out level the white BrightWALL™ wall covering was used to control wall leaks since the ground level was getting shallow against the block foundation. The rest of the wall is painted.
Waterproofing Piping at the WALL FLOOR Seam.
Prior to adding the wall covering, a basement waterproofing system is installed to take all the water collected to the sump pumps.
Wall Covering with Waterproofing
The block foundation walls are covered and sealed draining the water down into the waterproofing system that is connected to the sump pumps.
Complete wall covering.
From top to bottom and into the waterproofing system is the wall covering.
Twin Pack Sump Pump
The other part of the basement had a battery back up sump pump so for this section only a twin pack was installed. Included are two primary sump pumps, each with their own sump pump discharge line.
