Before WaterGuard and Wall Restoration.
There are small water stains. Even in a basement that standing water is never seen, water stains can tell the bigger story. A wet perimeter also means wet walls and baseboards.
WaterGuard Installed
WaterGuard is installed below the floor so it can catch any water before it gets to the floor. The perimeter of the basement is the most susceptible to water because of gaps in construction. Once installed we will re-pour the concrete for the floor and flooring can be installed on top.
Half-Wall Restoration During Install
The EverLast Walls are inorganic so they will not support mold and microbial growth. It is also easier to clean than traditional dry wall, will never need repainted, and is resistant to impact damage.
Boards to Finish are also Inorganic
Organic material in a basement guarantees mold growth. By using inorganic boards to finish the wall we are reducing mold supporting materials in the basement. They will also last longer than traditional wood boarding.
Half Wall Restoration Finished and WaterGuard
When the half-wall restoration is finished it is a very stylish addition to the basement. The WaterGuard will make sure the floor stays dry as well.
