Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Webster Groves, MO Basement No Longer Leaks

Hydrostatic pressure, leaking basement walls, and groundwater seepage threatened to ruin William's belongings stored in his Webster Groves basement.  William was (at least) the home's third owner.  He wasn't the first homeowner to experience the wet basement problem, but he was the first to contact Woods Basement Systems to fix the problem once and for all. Two sump pump failures and several leaks later, William had finally had it with his leaky basement.  He met with System Design Specialist Rich Obermeier to identify the problem and eliminate it. William's existing sump pumps had failed and would need to be removed, so Rich recommended the TripleSafe sump pump system—a three-pump system consisting of two primary pumps and a third battery backup pump.  This way, William could rest easy knowing that he had twice the pumping power and battery backup in case of mechanical failure or power outage. To handle groundwater seepage at the wall-floor seam, Rich recommended installing the WaterGuard drainage system along the basement perimeter.  This would ensure that any water seeping through the basement walls or leaking under the walls and floor would be directed to William's new sump pump system. As a third layer of defense, William also selected to install the IceGuard sump pump discharge line system to prevent his discharge pipes from freezing in the winter.  If outside lines were to freeze, the IceGuard would still allow water being pumped away from William's home to be discharged outside and prevent frozen lines from backing up into the basement. William was impressed with Foreman Michael Jones, Jr. and his crew who installed the basement waterproofing system.  Today, William's basement is dry, and he'll never have to fret about a leaky basement again!
