Fiberglass batt insulation

Often, rim joists are "insulated" with fiberglass batt insulation. Unfortunately, this form of insulation still allows for outside air to enter your basement or crawlspace.

R-Value you need?

Although this fiberglass batt is has an R-value of 13, it may not be providing the insulation and comfort you're hoping for.
