Nasty Sump Pump in Black Jack, MO
Challenge
A Black Jack, MO resident was tired of dealing with water in his basement every time it rained. His old sump pump couldn’t keep up with the amount of incoming water. It had become clogged over the years with dirt and other debris. The basement was in desperate need of a new waterproofing system.
Solution
Woods Basement Systems installed WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump in order to permanently waterproof the basement. WaterGuard is a piping system that is specifically engineered to effectively solve basement water problems without the worry of it clogging from soils under the floor. It is installed on top of the footing rather than beside it, so it does not become clogged with mud and other sediments. It also has a special wall flange to collect any wall seepage and drain it to the sump pump, without allowing dirt from the floor to enter.
The TripleSafe is the world’s most reliable pumping system. It contains 3 pumps and a WaterWatch alarm system. If pump 1 fails, pump 2 takes over. If pump 1 can’t keep up, both pumps 1 and 2 will operate. If the power fails, a battery operated pump automatically starts. The WaterWatch alarm sounds off if the water rises above the operating range of the pumps. That way, the homeowner is warned before any damage occurs.
The WaterGuard system, along with a TripleSafe sump pump, offer complete protection in keeping water out of the basement.
