John and Joann decided to finish their basement to create more living space in their St. Charles, MO home. Before doing so, they needed to waterproof some areas and repair some wall cracks. They contacted Woods Basement Systems knowing we could complete all three services. This photo gallery shows several before and after photos of the basement finishing process.

After Basement Finishing

Before Basement Finishing

John and Joann used their basement primarily for storage even after it was waterproofed. They decided they wanted extra living space, so they chose Woods to finish their basement. They already had the basement waterproofed with the CleanSpace vapor barrier liner. This helps to direct any water into the waterproofing system and out of the home.

PushPiers

PushPiers were installed in the basement to keep the foundation stable.

ThermalDry Flooring Installed

ThermalDry basement floor tiles are specifically designed for basement. They are made with 100% inorganic material so as to not support mold growth and have a grid backing which directs any unwanted moisture into the waterproofing system. It has an interlocking design, which allows for easy installation and replacement should a tile become damaged.
