Before Waterproofing
When this homeowner first reached out to Team Woods, this was the condition of the home. The walls were water-stained, and the waterproofing products weren't able to keep up with the demand of water that would leak in.
Waterproofed
For waterproofing, a CleanSpace encapsulation system was placed on the walls to serve as a vapor barrier, and in the footing of the walls, WaterGuard drains were installed. These two products work together to collect and direct water leaks to the basement sump pump to then be pumped outside of the home.
Making Room for EverLast
In this picture, you can see where the walls met the floor that the WaterGuard drains that were covered by cement had dried. Then Team Woods put in brackets to support the new EverLast wall panels that would soon be installed.
Lower Half of Wall
On the lower half of the basement walls, EverLast panels would be installed in the open spot.
Beautiful EverLast Walls
EverLast wall panels are durable and long-lasting to give this basement a beautiful, finished look.
Full-Length Panels
Here is a look at what the full-length EverLast panels look like. The longer walls in width installed full-length panels while the shorter walls had the lower-half installed like the previous image.
Revamped Basement
If you remember the first image in this album, this basement doesn't even look like the same house! These panels will prevent the walls from stains, unlike the condition the walls were previously in.
Inside Closet
Now that this basement is finished and protected from water damage, the homeowner will use the main room as a guest bedroom, and this closet as a guest closet. Now this basement can serve as an asset to the homeowner, not a headache!
