Photo Album: Waterproofing A Basement In Collinsville, IL
A basement in Collinsville, Illinois, needed some waterproofing work done due to water seepage issues. Woods started by installing new drains to catch the water. The WaterGuard system collects water and directs it to the sump pump nearby. Plastic pipes are laid directly underneath the floor and sit on top of the soil to prevent clogging from dirt or other debris. The next install was a new sump pump to collect and take this water away. The TripleSafe Sump Pump System is a top of the line system, with multiple pumps to ensure that no amount of water is too much to remove. The sump pump discharge lines are the last to be installed. The first outlet, the IceGuard, is attached directly to the house and has holes to prevent issues commonly experienced with frozen pipes. The LawnScape Outlet will release the water far from the perimeter of the home. Thanks to these installs this basement will be waterproof for years to come!
