Photo Album: Installing a Basement Window and Well in Carlyle, IL
A homeowner wanted to install a large basement window, so an Egress Window was installed. This basement window is large enough to climb out of in case of an emergency. It will also allow more natural light to enter the basement. Next, a WellDuct was installed below the window to drain out any water that enters the window well down to a perimeter drainage system. Lastly, a Rockwell Window Well was installed outside the Egress Window. The built-in steps of this system allow for an easy exit, and it features an airtight well cover that will keep water and debris out of the well. These systems will improve the safety and enjoyment of the basement and restore peace of mind for years to come!
