Photo Album: Moving Water Away from the Foundation
In Vandalia, Illinois homeowners Tim and Ross K. were having problems with water entering their crawlspace. This was causing problems inside of their home, sending unwanted smells and damp conditions into their home. The even began to notice the floor of the crawlspace had began to sink in. Worried about the well-being of their family and home, they finally decided to make the call to Woods Basement Systems.
Our foreman Michael Rebenstorff and his team discovered the area around the foundation of the home was very damp, meaning water was entering through the walls of the crawlspace. In order to keep the water away from the home, they first installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump system. This system is installed in the crawlspace to collect any water found in the space and send it outside of the home. Next, they extended the outdoor drainage system further away from the home. Ensuring that the water is staying away from the foundation, and keeping the home safe and dry.
