Soaked Floor
This finished basement had experienced so much water leakage that the carpet had flooded entirely. The homeowner reached out to Team Woods to uproot the carpet and install waterproofing products for protection.
Uprooted & Waterproofed
Team Woods uprooted the carpet and installed WaterGuard drains in the footing of the basement walls. This way the drains would collect the water leaks before they could leak inside and create damage.
Old Sump Pump
This outdated sump pump wasn't able to handle the demand of water that would flood in during heavy rains.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
A TripleSafe sump pump was installed to replace the old, outdated sump pump. A TripleSafe contains three pumps that will operate year around so that even if the primary pump fails, there are two battery-backup pumps.
Damp Floor
In the laundry machine section of the basement, water leaks were also found throughout the floor leaving the floor water stained.
WaterGuard Installed
WaterGuard drains were also installed in the perimeter of this section of the basement to prevent water leaks from damaging the walls and floor. Water creates a domino effect of issues if left untreated, so this homeowner made the right decision to get a professional's opinion on the safety of the room.
Outside Additions
To waterproof on the outside, IceGuards were installed onto the discharge lines. IceGuards are used to prevent the lines from freezing or clogging, which will stop the lines from backup and flooding back into the basement.
LawnScape Outlet Added
In addition to the IceGuards, a LawnScape outlet was installed away from the house. This outlet is attached to the discharge lines, and its purpose is to direct the water that is pumped out through the discharge lines away from the house. This prevents the water leaks from seeping back into the basement.
