Photo Album: Properly Air Sealed Home in Godfrey,IL

This home had many air penetrations throughout the entire house.  The basement needed to have it rim joist spray foamed.  The attic was air sealed by foaming up all gaps and holes.  Fiberglass insulation was blown in to make the bedrooms and laundry room more comfortable.  The insulation created a thermal barrier between the inside of the home and the attic.  The knee wall in the attic was sprayed with two part spray foam to seal the gap in between the bedroom walls.  A catwalk was built in the attic for the homeowner to be able to crawl/walk without having to be in the insulation.
