Air Sealed Can Light
Air is leaked from inside the home through the light fixtures into the attic. Having insulation pressed against a can light is a fire hazard so not only is this cover sealing air penetrations but it is eliminating a fire hazard.
Air Sealing Attic
Air is lost through the ceiling where there are walls at which our the top plates in the attic. Many of times there are also wires coming through the top plates which the air will be lost as well.
Spray Foamed Duct
Where these ventilation ducts are being ran to there are big gaps where it connects. Where it connects can get very hot in attic which the spray foam will seal and insulate it.

Can Light
Much air is lost through can lights from the inside to the attic. Having all this insulation pressed up against the light could cause a fire in the attic as well.
