The 30th Annual Italian Fest Kicks Off Today!

The Italian Fest celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.  Since 1983, the Italian Fest has been celebrating the Italian culture and heritage that Collinsville, IL was built on.  Known best for its authentic Italian food, the annual event incorporates great music and activities for all ages, such as the Italian Fest 5K and half-mile Kids Fun Run.

Woods Basement Systems is especially excited about the 5K Run.  Our team members have been training for weeks and are looking forward to some friendly competition this weekend.  Woods Basement Systems and Dr. Energy Saver St. Louis will have nearly 30 runners representing Team Woods in the race.

Italian Fest is impossible to miss, located on Main Street between Morrison and Seminary streets and lined with vendors.  The Fest runs Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  Come join your friends and neighbors, enjoy some traditional Italian bagna cauda and salsiccia, listen to some good music, and celebrate Collinsville's Italian heritage.
