2018 Employee of the Year

And the 2018 Employee of the Year goes to…Gerica Stucker! Gerica joined Woods Basement Systems in April 2015 as an Inside Sales Specialist. When the need arose, she assumed her current role as a Sales Support Administrator, where she has served the team well. Gerica is the epitome of a team player. In addition to the Employee of the Year award, she won the WOW! Service Award from the Production department.

Gerica was nominated for the Employee of the Year award by her coworkers, and they had plenty of great things to say about her. She “goes above and beyond for employees,” she’s “a true team player,” and she “has an overlapping effect on the success on many departments” are just a few of the things said to describe Gerica. Another noted, “she’s the glue.”

When she heard her name announced as the employee of the year, Gerica was shocked. She said, “I was shocked and extremely grateful to be recognized! It was nice knowing that what I do matters and affects the company as a whole, even though my role is ‘behind the scenes.’”  

If you know Gerica, you know she is always willing to help with a smile. As noted by a coworker, “She has a genuine desire to make this building the best place to work.” She truly embodies the values of Team Woods, and she serves as a great role model.

She truly enjoys working for Woods Basement Systems saying, “The comradery at Woods is something I’ve never quite experienced before. When you work here, you feel like part of a family.”
