2018: A Year in Review
2018 was an exciting year for the Team at Woods Basement Systems. Here’s our year in review.
We went paperless.
We went 100% paperless payroll. In addition to transitioning to paperless payroll, a grove of trees was planted in our name for making the change.
We gave back to our community.
We started our year with our annual Biggest Loser Contest where we aim to get healthy while raising money and collecting donations for the Collinsville Food Pantry.
Throughout the year, we participated in many other community initiatives like Operation Food Search, Toys for Tots, and Partners for Pets. We also collected candy and created a costume closet for Caritas Family Solutions. In addition to these activities and others, we also collected money to pay off lunch money debt for a local Collinsville school.
We gave back to our team.
We also gave back to each other. A couple of times throughout the year, the office team baked and delivered cookies to our installation crews. We also enjoyed days throughout the year like chili day or baked potato day.
We celebrated.
We celebrated the summer and each other by taking a break together at Splash City. On this day, we enjoyed food, family, and fellowship at the local water park. Also, in August, we celebrated 32 years of being your local family-owned and operated company for waterproofing and foundation solutions.
Of course, this doesn’t encompass everything we did this year. Overall, we enjoyed a year of celebrating teamwork and getting involved in our community. We’re looking forward to what 2019 has in store.
