Local Township Considers PolyLevel
Last Friday, Woods Basement Systems did a PolyLevel demonstration for the township of Shiloh, Illinois. The township is working to improve the safety and beauty of their town. Uneven sidewalks are a safety concern for the city, and there are approximately 1,200 manholes that need leveled.
Mayor Vernier and Director of Public Works Megan Fuhler were onsite to witness the demonstration on two of the cities uneven manholes. The two were impressed with the efficiency and effectiveness of PolyLevel. Traditional methods of concrete leveling would shut the sidewalks down for days, but these two maholes were leveled within two hours, and the sidewalks were immediately ready for use. Uneven sidewalks are a safety concern for the city, and there are approximately 1,200 manholes that need leveled. Megan is now considering using PolyLevel to repair the manholes and uneven sidewalks.
PolyLevel is strong, lightweight foam that lifts and aligns sunken or settled concrete. Because it does not interact with the soil, it is long lasting. PolyLevel is also noninvasive. The foam is injected into the concrete and settles quickly, making the process efficient and inexpensive.
