Woods Basement Systems Has a New Public Relations Coordinator

Kimberly Sletten began with Woods Basement Systems in August of 2015 as a Marketing Intern during her last semester of college. She graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising in December of 2015.

Most of Kim’s professional experience comes from her leadership in an account management department with a large network marketing company. With that company, Kim started as a call center representative and quickly promoted to a team leader. She assisted in the expansion of the customer service department from just a few employees to 250 employees during her two years. She also has experience in the hospitality and healthcare industry.

As the new Public Relations Coordinator in the Marketing department at Woods, she is responsible for PR related activities, external and some internal events, and working closely with interns. Kim most enjoys being able to use her creative ability on a daily basis as well as building close relationships with her team members and in the community.

In her spare time, Kim spends most of her time with her sweet and funny two year old daughter. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kim loves reading, writing, crafting, and being outdoors. She is a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues.

Kim is excited to officially join the Woods team as the Public Relations Coordinator and is looking forward to continuing to build close relationships with co-workers and community members. Woods would like to weclome her to the team!
