Third Times the Charm
The single pump does a decent job of getting the water out, but then it rains a bunch and can't keep up with the water flow. Then the basement floods and everyone is unhappy. A second pump is added and does a much better job of keeping the water out. Pump two works with pump one and removes the water like no other. Installing double pumps was clearly the better choice than just having one. But then the power goes out or the circuit breaks and both these powerful pumps shut off and the basement floods again. What is missing?
A Triple Safe Sump Pump. Pump three is a DC operated pump which means that it is battery operated which can help make sure the water stays out. This pump kicks on if the other two go off due to power failure. It has a second automatic-designed battery. When the power does come back on, pump three shuts off, begins to recharge, and the other two come back on and continue pumping the water out.
The Triple Safe is screwed shut to make sure no debris or insects can make its way into the pump and cause it to clog. It is also equipped with an airtight floor drain in case of a plumbing leak. Water can go down but damp air cannot come up into the basement. A floating ball in the drain creates the seal. It also has a patented WaterWatch Alarm that sounds off if the water rises above the operating range of the pumps. This warns you there is a problem before any damage occurs. Triple Safe is the last and the best choice to keep any basement dry.
