Woods Basement Systems encapsulates an Illinois homeowner's crawl space with a CleanSpace vapor barrier, a SmartSump Pump and a SaniDry dehumidification unit. The CleanSpace vapor barrier is a durable liner with a factory sealed seam, which ensures zero moisture penetration. The CleanSpace vapor barrier includes brown dimpled sheeting that allows any water to migrate quicker to the SmartSump pump. The SmartSump Pump comes with a radon approved floor drain and a water alarm that will sound if there were ever a water leak. Lastly the SaniDry dehumidification unit will pull the moisture out of the air and drain directly to the SmartSump.

Water was coming down the walls of a basement in Strasburg, IL, and mold was growing on them. To solve this issue, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the WaterGuard System. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. The room addition was built attached to a basement and had only one access cut through the basement wall.  It was built without vents but nothing else was done within the closed space.  We installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier and sealed up the inside of the crawl space.  The air inside the space is now dry and the vapor barrier on the ground will stop the damp air from the ground from 'leaking' up into the home.
