Would you believe us if we told you this is the same Gibson City, Illinois basement?  It really is!

Groundwater seepage is a problem for basements, especially when the building materials used to finish the basement are made of wood. Humidity in the basement compounds the problem, and soon there will be mold and wood rot.

Woods Basement Systems first installed a waterproofing and sump pump system to keep this basement dry all the time. Shawna S. of Greenup, Illinois noticed that water was leaking inside her home's crawl space through the door. She did not want to have to deal with the possiblility of rotting or mold growth because of standing water in her crawl space, so she called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Gregory B. assessed the situation and came up with the perfect solution. Foreman Joshua B. then headed to the home to install a EverLast Access Well and a EverLast door.

The EverLast Access Well and EverLast door work together to ensure that no water gets inside the crawl space. The EverLast Access Well is dug into the ground and around the entrance of the crawl space. It prevents water from running into the door of the crawl space. The EverLast door makes an air tight seal. No water or moisture is able to get into the crawl space after installation.

Shawna S. no longer has to worry about water leaking into her home's crawl space. She now has a dry and water-free crawl space.

A basement wall was becoming unstable in Toledo, IL, so GeoLock Wall Anchors were installed. These will permanently stabilize the wall, straightening it to its original position and keeping it in place. Any cracks will also be closed so that no water can leak through. This wall will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!

Robert P was concerned when he noticed that the floors in his house were beginning to sink.  So he decided to call Woods Basement Systems.  System Design Specialist Gregory B was able to come up with a solution to the problem.

Foreman Jose L installed a SmartJack, shown above, in Robert’s home.  The SmartJack will rest on the ground and will support the sinking floors lifting them back towards their original position.
