Richard C. of Granite City, IL noticed water coming into his basement where the floor meets the foundation wall. He contacted Woods Basement Systems for a free evaulation. Specialist Nolan M. determined that a WaterGuard waterproofing system needed to be installed to keep the water out. This gallery shows the process of installing WaterGuard in the basement under the stairs as well as how it is directed into the sump pump.
Gregory and Corrine H. of Rantoul, Illinois had found signs of foundation settlement around their home. The walls on their basement were cracked, cracks were forming near windows and doors and on the ceiling. Concerned and unsure what to do, they decided to call Woods Basement Systems. Woods is not only a waterproofing expert, but they repair foundation problems, seal crawlspaces, etc.
We sent our foreman Lucas Bockhorn and his team out to the home to install our patented PowerBrace system. The PowerBrace system is designed to permanently stabilize your home’s foundation. It supports basement walls and allows for straightening over time. Now that the PowerBrace system was installed, the homeowners were stable and supported.
A concrete driveway was sinking in Rantoul, IL, causing a step to form where it connects to the garage. To solve this issue, the PolyLevel System was installed. This will stabilize, lift, and level the concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes were drilled into the concrete and the foam was injected to fill the void underneath. This installation technique allows the foam to expand as it cures, precisely lifting the slab back up. This driveway will remain stable and restore peace of mind for years to come!
Water was entering a basement in Rantoul, IL, causing damage. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump system. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!
