Cracked & Settled Exterior Supported by Push Piers in Ballwin, MO

Before, this home was experiencing cracking inside and outside. Foundation cracks might start small, but they widen and deepen over time! Team Woods stopped the foundation settlement by installing push piers into the footing of the home. CleanSpace, TwinPack, & WaterGuard Protect Ballwin, MO Basement from Harm

This homeowner wanted to waterproof her basement after her home's basement walls were secured with Geo-Locks which were installed by Team Woods. To protect the home from water damage, Team Woods' head foreman Juan H. led his team in installing a CleanSpace encapsulation system on the walls, a TwinPack sump pump in the corner, and WaterGuard drains in the footing.

Fixing Standing Water By A Basement Door

This home in Ballwin, MO. experienced standing water near the door in the basement. The likely cause was water leaking in through the gap between the door and the floor.

A grate in the floor by the door will catch water leaking through that gap, but without a good sump pump water will build up there anyway. When John L. went to the home to address the problem, he replaced the sump pump with a new one to make sure that their system was in fine working order. This new sump pump will make sure that water doesn't get backed up by the door, where it could damage the wooden sill plate and studs.

The new pump will protect this home from more dangerous leaks until John returns again for another maintenance inspection.
