Wall Anchor Installation in Greenville, IL

Lester H. of Greenville, Illinois noticed that a couple walls in his home's basement were starting to bow and crack. He did not want to ignore the problem and allow it to get worse or cause any safety hazards, so he called Woods Basement Systems.

Design specialist Joshua L. assessed the situation and decided that the best solution was to install a few wall anchors. Foreman Jeremy R. headed to the home to get the job started. The wall anchors, pictured above, are made of steel and extend from the inside of the house to the hard packed soil outside. The wall anchors stabilize and prevent the wall from any further movement.

Lester H. no longer has to worry about his home's walls bowing and cracking. He now has stable and safe basement walls.

Waterproofing in Greenville, Illinois

Beverly S. of Greenville, Illinois needed some preventative waterproofing done, so she called Woods Basement Systems. Systems design specialist, Luke B. recommended installing a TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard.

Foreman, Joshua B. installed the products. The TripleSafe sump pump is guaranteed to keep your home protected with its primary pump, secondary pump, and battery-powered backup pump. WaterGuard is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it works to collect water that seeps through basement walls and guides it to the sump pump to be removed from the home.

Now Beverly has a watertight basement.

Home Waterproofed in Greenville, Illinois

Curtis P. of Greenville, Illinois had water leaking into his basement, so he called Woods Basement Systems for a solution. Systems design specialist, Bill C. recommended installing WaterGuard and a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier.

Foreman, Michael J. installed the products. WaterGuard is a waterproofing system that is installed in the perimeter of the basement floor and it is used to collect water that seeps through basement walls. It then takes that collected water and guides it to the sump pump in order for it to be removed from the home. Sanidry Sedona is a dehumidifier that works to keep all moisture out of the air to prevent water damage from vapor that may come through the walls. Additionally, the customer had EverLast walls installed to make them more appealing to the eye.

Now Curtis P. has a dry basement.

Settling Greenville, IL Foundation Righted With Push Piers

Settling foundations are fairly common, but that does not mean that they should be accepted. Some telltale signs that a foundation is settling are cracking exterior brickwork, sticking doors and windows, and cracking floors. This Greenville, Illinois home was experiencing all of these symptoms, and the homeowner called Woods Basement Systems out of concern. A Woods team installed several Push Piers underneath the foundation before adjusting them to lift and level it. These piers will remain for the life of the structure to provide support.

Protected a Finished Basement

Greenville, IL homeowner Curtis P. enjoyed his finished basement, but wanted to ensure it was protected against water damage.

Foreman John L. helped him protect his basement by connecting his drainage system together beneath the floor and installing a SaniDry™ dehumidifier to help pull the excess moisture out of the air and pump it outside.

With these measures in place, Curtis P. can enjoy a comfortable and dry basement year-round.
