Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing and Stabilizing a Basement in Urbana, IL
A basement foundation was cracking in Urbana, IL, and water was starting to leak from it, causing more issues. To solve these problems once and for all, the GeoLock Wall Anchor System was first installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time.
Next, the WaterGuard System was installed. This perimeter drainage system will catch wall seepage and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, draining water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharging it from the house. Next, the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge System was installed. The patented design of this system automatically allows water to escape through its perforations when pipe terminations are blocked, usually by ice or snow. Lastly, a LawnScape Outlet was installed. This connects the discharge lines to a special extension sending water away from the foundation while camouflaging the end of the pipe. Thanks to these systems, this basement will now remain stable and dry all the time!
