This homeowner's basement in Monticello, IL was leaking, so they installed a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system to drain water along the walls as well as our TripleSafe sump pump to efficiently pump water out of the basement. The IceGuard discharge line provides an outlet for water in case of clogging, and our LawnScape discharge outlet drains the water far away from the house. Leakage Along Basement Wall

The visible leaking in this basement is not only an inconvenience, but can pose a threat to the foundation walls if left untreated.

Water Perimeter Drainage System Installed

To prevent leaking along the basement walls, the WaterGuard perimeter drainage system was installed. This provides a small outlet along the foundation walls that leads to the sump pump where it is pumped from the basement.

Sump Pump with Backup Battery Installed

The TripleSafe sump pump will effectively drain any water that gets into the basement out through the discharge lines outside the house. This customer installed the UltraSump backup battery as well, so in the case of a power outage, the backup will automatically kick on and keep the basement dry.

Discharge Lines Installed

In case of clogging from foliage, tree roots, or being frozen over, the IceGuard discharge lines will provide an exit for the sump pump to drain out that is away from the basement.
