Outside Basement Entrance
The basement has an entrance on the outside of the home. During heavy rains, water would seep into the basement from up under the door. This is where we would install a trench drain so water doesn't have a chance to make it into the basement.
New Sump Pump & Perimeter System
We installed a new sump pump with a battery backup. In the event the house loses power, the waterproofing system will still function properly.
Sump System
When we install our drainage system it gets tied into the sump pump system. We pour concrete to seal the system after it's installed for a more discreet design. The concrete you see here is still drying.
Trench Drain
We installed a trench drain which we use to effectively capture water at stairways, doorways, and other openings. This will prevent any water from making it into the area.
Perimeter Waterproofing
We dig down to the footing and our system is installed right above it. Here the team is getting ready to install the system above the footing.
Water Damage
A close-up look at what water does when it gets into your home. You can see mold growing.
System Access Port
The plastic piece set into the drying concrete is where we access the system for service and flush it out.
