Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Protecting Basement from Rainwater Leaks
Before, this homeowner had no means of protection against pesky water leaks. Leaks are bound to occur eventually since the basement is the most susceptible area in the house for leaks to develop. Once this homeowner noticed a few water stains, she made the decision to reach out to Woods Basement Systems to completely waterproof and protect her basement space.
WaterGuard was used to collect the pesky water leaks that enter inside where the walls met the floor. Since water leaks inside through this area, WaterGuard drains are installed into the flooring to collect the leaks and direct them towards the TripleSafe sump pump to be pumped back outside.
WaterGuard System
WaterGuard was installed on-top of the footing to catch water leaking in at the floor/wall joint.
TripleSafe System
TripleSafe keeps the basement dry with triple the protection.
The Difference of WaterGuard
Unlike conventional French drains that are installed outside the foundation or alongside the footing, WaterGuard drainage piping is installed inside the basement and won't clog with silt or plant roots.
