Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: The Difference of WaterGuard
Deciding to Waterproof your home is a difficult decision and process, but not when you make the call to Woods Basement Systems! This homeowner, Randle C. of Granite City, wanted a fast and quick way to waterproof his basement after a very rainy spring and summer seasons. He was exhausted from keeping up with the rainwater that was entering his basement, and didn’t have anywhere to move his items that are stored. He made the quick call to Woods, to set up his free estimate.
After the estimate, he decided that he did want to waterproof his basement. We sent our team and foreman Tyler Sears to install the solutions. Using several of our patented items such as WaterGuard, IceGuard, and TripleSafe, they completely waterproofed his basement once and for all.
Before Waterproofing
This is a common sight in many homes, an unused sump pump system with water on the floor.
After Installing WaterGuard System
WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the room, against the walls where the rainwater enters the home.
The Difference of WaterGuard
The difference of WaterGuard is that it was installed on-top of the footing. This keeps the drain from clogging of dirt and debris.
Installing WaterGuard
WaterGuard is easy to install, often taking only one or two days. Removing the floor around the walls and installing the drain pipe.
TripleSafe
The existing sump pump was removed and replaced with our patented TripleSafe sump pump system.
