Leaky Window
The old windows were leaky and let water in during heavy rains.
Windows Separating from Exterior
They had begun to separate from the exterior, and cracks were extending out from the square in the foundation walls.
Window Replacement
In order to solve this problem, Woods installed new windows in the basement.
New Window
The cracks were sealed, and the new windows fit perfectly in the square, keeping the rain out.
WaterGuard Installation
Woods installed WaterGuard to drain the water to the sump pump.
Wall Flange
WaterGuard has a special wall flange for any wall seepage to be drained away from the home.
Non-Clogging System
WaterGuard is designed to sit on top of the footing rather than beside it, so dirt and debris cannot enter and cause it to become clogged.
WaterGuard Installation
WaterGuard can be used with all types of foundations including block, poured concrete, and stone.
Quick and Easy Installation
It can also easily be installed around objects, such as water heaters, making it the best solution for wet basement problems.
Doorway Installation
WaterGuard can even be installed in doorways, draining away any water that might enter through the doorway.
WaterGuard Installation
WaterGuard typically has a quick, one-day installation and causes minimal disturbance during the installation process.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
Woods also installed a TripleSafe to replace the old failed sump pump in the basement.
TripleSafe
The TripleSafe is a three-pump system. If the first pump fails, the second pump automatically takes over. If pump 1 cannot keep up with the amount of incoming water, both pumps 1 and 2 work at the same time. If the power is lost, a battery operated third pump kicks in and gets the job done.
Dry Basement
Together, WaterGuard and TripleSafe effectively keep the basement looking clean and feeling dry. Concrete is poured after installation, and the WaterGuard system can be covered to keep the basement looking nice.
ThermalDry Installation
Woods installed ThermalDry matting to provide an air space under the floor and a thermal break from the cold slab. This creates a floor that will not rot, grow mold, or get damaged from a leak.
