Drilled Hole in the Floor Drain Pipe
At the bottom of the water line in the drain line is the drilled hole letting in the water from under the basement floor slap.
Installation Location for the Sump Pump
With the problem of the water back up and coming up and getting the basement wet it is important to locate the sump pump as close to the problem as possible.
TripleSAFE™ 3 Sump Pump System
The black battery is tied to the 3rd sump pump in the TripleSAFE™. There are 2 primary sump pumps and a battery back up too. The sump pump lid helps keep water evaporating up into the basement that include seals around the white 1 1/2 inch lines too.
2 Outlets for the 2 Sump Pump Discharge Lines
The 2 primary sump pumps in the TripleSAFE™ system each have their own discharge line. The 1 1/2 inch lines are tied into a 4 inch drain line taking the water away from the home.
2 IceGUARDS™
The transition from the 1 1/2 to 4 inch drain line include the IceGUARD™ to make sure water once pumped from the sump pump will be ejected to the outside if the lines are clogged or frozen. This way the basement will remain dry until the outside problem is repaired or thawed.
Sump Pump Discharge Line
Being neighborly, it is important not to send water from the sump pump unto the neighbor's property. Additionally, the utilities are located for both properties. Now the sump pump discharge line sends the water downhill towards the front of the home.
Secondary Floor Drain
Just in case of a water back up from the large floor drain, a secondary overflow floor drain is installed to drain the spillage to the sump pump.
