WaterGuard® was the choice of the builder constructing an earth home because he needed the peace of mind of having an interior system that would handle any vertical wall leaks. Also, the WaterGuard® helps control water seapage at the foundation wall and footing seam. Traditional drain tile was installed in several rows for under the slab floor and with the WaterGuard® drained into several sump pumps.

Interior WaterGuard®

WaterGuard® is our interior waterproofing system. As you can see, vertical leaks can easily get into it and then to the sump pump where the water is pumped out of the home.

Looking down into the WaterGuard® basement waterproofing system you can see the space in the flange that lets the water into it.

Drain tile across the floor area

Several rows of drain tile were installed across the basement floor area to help drain water to several sump pumps. WaterGuard® is pictured at the top of the photo against the wall.
