Woods Basement Systems, Inc., Sponsors 2015 BBB Torch Awards

November 10, 2015 – Woods Basement Systems, Inc. recently sponsored the Central Illinois Better Business Bureau Torch Awards for Business Integrity at the Gateway Building in Peoria, Illinois with attendance by almost 150 area businesses.

The three businesses selected for the 2015 BBB Torch Award for Business Integrity were AAA Certified Confidential Security Co., Bix Basement Systems, and LeadIT. In an article by the Central Illinois Better Business Bureau, Vice President Jessica Tharp said, “The winning companies were deemed to exercise integrity and consistently meet very high standards in their relationships with customers, employees, vender/suppliers, industry peers and our community.”

The following four awards were presented at the reception as well: Bruce Kensinger of Menold Construction & Restoration – Jeff Bell Customer Service Award; Oberlander Alarm of Peoria – Truth In Advertising Award; WCIA News of Champaign – BBB’s Partners In Trust Award; and Steve Jackson of Prairie Home Alliance – BBB’s Patron of Integrity Award

For the St. Louis BBB Torch Awards, a company is eligible to be recognized once every five years; Woods Basement Systems earned the award in 2012. For the BBB of Central Illinois, a company is eligible to be recognized once every other year; Woods earned the awards for 2005, 2008, 2010, and 2014. This year, Woods sponsored the Central Illinois BBB Torch Awards reception and award ceremony.
